The Waggon & Horses, Hawkshaw

We've wanted to try here for a while, had lunch for 4 people yesterday afternoon and absolutely everything was amazing. Beautifully decorated throughout, very welcoming and attentive service from start to finish, delicious food well presented and great choice. We could not fault our experience, we'll definitely be back, thank you so much.

We have just visited the Waggon and Horses for our first Sunday lunch there, and we are already planning when we can go next. From first walking in to a lovely welcome and atmosphere, the food and service was outstanding. It really has been the highlight of a hard week for us both. We can't thank you enough and look forward to our next visit.

The food was absolutely beautiful, the best beef roast I've had in a long time. My husband loved his burger too and the salt and pepper chicken was so tasty. The kids meals were great too. The staff were so lovely and friendly. I highly recommend The Waggon and Horses.

Lovely village pub in the centre of the village. Great food, you need to book to avoid disappointment. Outside seating, bowling green available for a small fee, quirky green adds to the fun. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Highly recommended, we visit here regularly. Food is outstanding and they're always able to cater for extra requests. Hospitality 10/10. The landlord and lady and the staff are so lovely and very welcoming.
